"The Whee Women" evolved out of the Butterfly Series as an organic part of the creative process, and was sparked by my 40th birthday celebration.  My life was being challenged by a health crisis or, as I like to think of it now, "an opportunity for growth."  I wanted to create a metaphor for my life so that I could remember to live each day, as if it were my last.  I had this idea to go to Great America theme park and ride every rollercoaster with my hands up in the air....wheeeee!!!!, signifying unlimited joy and freedom. From this incredible experience the "Whee" philosophy has evolved...  "No matter what happens in life, you always have a choice to wheeee!!!!"  I am currently working on a book, "The Wisdom of Whee!!!"
